    1. Roald Dahl is a popular children’s author, yes. He has written other well-known titles such as Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Gene Wilder starred as Willy Wonka in the movie version), James and the Giant Peach, and The BFG. I had only read a couple of his books as a child, but I’m really enjoying discovering them with my son.

      This one was so silly, but has a cool message of the animals coming together to revolt against the wicked couple, which I loved!
